How to Cancel a Subscription Billed by Apple

If you signed up for a service inside an app on an iPhone or iPad, Apple may be the company that bills you. In that case you cancel in your Apple account, not with the service itself.
Cancel on an iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You may need to scroll down.
If there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already canceled.
Cancel on a Mac
- Open the App Store and click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Click your name again on the page that appears.
- Click Subscriptions.
- Click the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
Cancel on the web or a Windows PC
- On the web: sign in to your Apple account’s subscriptions page.
- On Windows: open the Apple Music or Apple TV app, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then View My Account. Scroll to the Settings section. Next to Subscriptions, click Manage, then Edit next to the subscription, and Cancel Subscription.
Can’t find the subscription?
- Search your email for “receipt from Apple” or “invoice from Apple”.
- Check which Apple account the receipt was sent to.
- If it’s a family member’s account, they need to cancel it themselves.
- If it’s another of your own accounts, sign in with that account and cancel.
- If there’s no Apple receipt, you may have subscribed through another company. Check your bank or card statement.
Asking Apple for a refund
Canceling stops future charges. To ask for money back for a charge, request a refund from Apple:
- Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Choose I’d like to, then Request a refund.
- Choose the reason, then Next.
- Choose the subscription or item, then Submit.
Apple says to expect an update on your request within 24 to 48 hours. Refunds aren’t guaranteed, and an approved refund can take extra time to reach your payment method.
