How to cancel video, music and audio subscriptions in the US. Most can be canceled online in a few steps, but if you signed up through Apple, Google, Amazon or your TV or phone provider, you usually have to cancel there instead.

Check who bills you first

If the charge on your statement comes from Apple, Google Play or another company rather than the streaming service itself, cancel through that company. The streaming service often can't cancel it for you.

Deleting the app doesn't cancel

Removing an app from your phone or TV does not stop the subscription. You have to cancel it in your account or with whoever bills you.
