Cancel, pause and skip can mean different things

Usually, skipping stops one delivery and pausing stops deliveries for a while, while canceling ends the subscription. But companies use these words differently (Home Chef's "pause" button is how you cancel), so follow the specific guide and watch for automatic restart dates.

Watch the order cutoff

Boxes are usually prepared ahead of time. An order that is already past its cutoff may still ship and be charged after you cancel.
