How to Cancel Hinge

Quick answer
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there: open your subscriptions, select Hinge and tap Cancel Subscription. If you paid Hinge directly, open the Hinge app, tap the gear icon and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing period.

Before you cancel
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the next billing period.
- If you pay through the App Store or Google Play, deleting the app or your Hinge account does NOT cancel your subscription.
- If you pay Hinge directly, deleting the app doesn't cancel it, but deleting your Hinge account does cancel it immediately.

- Open your Apple subscriptions page.
- Select Hinge.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel through Google Play (Android)
- Open your Google Play subscriptions page.
- Select Hinge.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the instructions.

Cancel a subscription paid to Hinge directly
If you paid Hinge directly (Hinge Payment) instead of through an app store.
- Open the Hinge app and tap the gear icon.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
Can't get into the app? Hinge's help article has a link for canceling without the app. Use the email address that receives your subscription notices, which may differ from your account email.
Common problems
I deleted Hinge but I'm still being charged
If Apple or Google Play bills you, deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
Refunds and your final bill
- Hinge can't refund App Store purchases. Apple handles those.
- Google handles refund requests for purchases made through Google Play.
- If you paid Hinge directly within the last 14 days, Hinge says to contact its support team with your refund request.
- Residents of Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island and Wisconsin can request a full refund within 3 business days of subscribing. Hinge's refund article says to send a signed, dated notice with your account email or phone number and your order number to: Hinge, Attn: Cancellations, P.O. Box 25472, Dallas, Texas 75225, USA.
Make sure it worked
- Keep the confirmation email, a screenshot of the confirmation screen, or any reference number.
- Check your next card or bank statement to confirm the charge has stopped.
