Quick answer
If you pay Match directly, log in on the website or app and cancel from Manage Subscription in your account settings. If Apple or Google Play bills you, cancel in their subscription settings. You can keep using the subscription until the end of your current term.

Before you cancel
- You can keep using a canceled subscription until the end of your current term.
- Canceling a free trial ends your access immediately.
- If you cancel a Platinum subscription, you can't downgrade to Silver or Bronze at this time.

How to cancel Match
Cancel on the Match website or app
If you pay Match directly.
- Log in to Match on the website or in the app.
- Go to your account settings and open Manage Subscription.
- Re-enter your password if asked, and cancel your subscription.
Cancel through Apple (iPhone or iPad)
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Match, then Cancel Subscription.
Cancel through Google Play (Android)
- Open subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select Match.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

Refunds and your final bill
- Match's terms say purchases are generally final and nonrefundable, with no refunds or credits for partly used periods, except where local law requires them.
- Residents of Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island and Wisconsin can cancel without penalty before midnight of the third business day after subscribing. To request that refund, the terms say to send a signed, dated notice with your name and the email address, phone number or other identifier on your account to: Match, Attn: Cancellations, P.O. Box 25472, Dallas, Texas 75225, USA.

- Keep the confirmation email, a screenshot of the confirmation screen, or any reference number.
- Check your next card or bank statement to confirm the charge has stopped.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to my profile if I cancel my Match membership?
Match says your profile and photos are hidden, your data is kept under its Privacy Policy, and you can reactivate by signing in.
Can I cancel a free trial and keep using it?
No. Canceling a Match free trial ends your access immediately.
