How to Cancel Tinder

Quick answer
Cancel where you bought it. If Apple bills you, cancel in your iPhone's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. If Google Play bills you, cancel in Google Play's Payments & subscriptions. If you paid on tinder.com, or by card or PayPal in the Android app, go to your profile, Manage Payment Account, then Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel.

Before you cancel
- Uninstalling or deleting the Tinder app won't cancel your subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until they're canceled.
- Subscriptions don't move between platforms. Cancel on the same platform where you subscribed.
- Your order number shows where you subscribed: numbers starting with MK are Apple, GPA are Google Play, and TNDR are tinder.com.
How to cancel Tinder
Cancel through Apple (iPhone or iPad)
For subscriptions with an order number starting with MK. If you paid with Apple Pay or on the web (rolling out in some markets), use the tinder.com steps instead.
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select your Tinder subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel through Google Play (Android)
For subscriptions with an order number starting with GPA.
- Open the Google Play app and tap your profile icon at the top right.
- Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Select your Tinder subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription.

For subscriptions with an order number starting with TNDR.
- Go to tinder.com and log in.
- Tap your profile icon.
- Select Manage Payment Account.
- Find your subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel a card or PayPal subscription in the Android app
If you paid by credit card or PayPal in the Tinder app on Android.
- Open the Tinder app and tap your profile icon.
- Choose Manage Payment Account.
- Find your subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
Billed by someone else?
If Apple or Google Play bills you, cancel with them, using the steps above for the platform where you subscribed.
- For refunds on purchases made through a third party, Tinder says to contact that merchant directly.
Common problems
I deleted Tinder but I'm still being charged
Uninstalling or deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription. Cancel it with Apple, Google Play or on tinder.com, depending on where you subscribed.
I can't find my subscription
Check your order number. MK means Apple, GPA means Google Play, TNDR means tinder.com. Cancel on that platform.
Make sure it worked
- Keep the confirmation email, a screenshot of the confirmation screen, or any reference number.
- Check your next card or bank statement to confirm the charge has stopped.
Frequently asked questions
Does deleting Tinder cancel my subscription?
