Billed by someone else?
If you don't see an option to change or cancel your plan, your Premium is probably billed by a partner company, such as your mobile or internet provider.

- Spotify can't refund payments made through partners. Ask the partner.
Common problems
I canceled but was charged
You probably canceled just after a payment went through. You keep Premium until your plan switches to free and won't be charged again.
I'm still being charged after canceling
Try the cancel steps again and make sure you reach the confirmation message. You may also have logged in to a different account: try again with other login details. If a partner bills you, contact that company.
Refunds and your final bill
- Spotify says you can cancel any time and keep what you paid for; your account stays on Premium until the end of the billing period.
- Spotify can't refund Premium paid through a partner (contact the partner) or gift cards bought in stores (return them to the retailer).
Make sure it worked
- Make sure you see Spotify's cancellation confirmation message.
- Keep the confirmation email, a screenshot of the confirmation screen, or any reference number.
- Check your next card or bank statement to confirm the charge has stopped.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my playlists if I cancel Spotify Premium?
No. Your playlists and saved music stay on the free plan.
Can a Family plan member cancel the plan?
No. Only the plan manager can cancel. Members who leave the plan don't cancel it.
Why can't I see a cancel button?
A partner, such as your mobile or internet provider, probably bills you. The Payment section of Manage your plan shows who.
