Last checked against Spectrum's official support and Contact Us pages. How we check
Quick answer
Sign in to your Spectrum account to see your cancellation options. If you need help, chat with Spectrum, call (833) 267-6094 (TV, Internet and Home Phone) or (833) 224-6603 (Spectrum Mobile), or visit a Spectrum Store. Then return leased equipment to a Spectrum Store.
Go to Spectrum's official change or cancel page →Opens www.spectrum.net, Spectrum's official site. CutTheCharge doesn't cancel anything for you.Cancellation snapshot
- Equipment return
- Yes, leased equipment, at a Spectrum Store (or via The UPS Store after contacting Spectrum)
Before you cancel
- Part-time resident? Spectrum's Seasonal status puts TV, Internet and/or Home Phone on hold for a low monthly fee, instead of canceling. Contact Spectrum to check eligibility.
- Moving? You can transfer TV, Internet and Home Phone to your new address if Spectrum serves it.
- Spectrum Mobile device payments: if you disconnect a line but keep your Mobile account, that line's Device Payment Plan continues as scheduled. If you close the Mobile account, the remaining balance is due on your next statement.
- Mobile bundle discount: if you disconnect all your other Spectrum services, you lose the bundle discount on Spectrum Mobile.
- Email and voicemail: Spectrum email stays accessible for 60 days after internet service is disconnected. Voicemail stops on the disconnection date, so save important messages first.

Common problems
I got another bill after canceling
Spectrum sends a final statement at the next billing cycle for outstanding charges, such as International Calling or Pay-Per-View. You may get another statement if equipment is still unreturned.
There's no Spectrum Store near me to return equipment
Equipment may also be returned through The UPS Store. Spectrum says to contact it before returning anything through UPS.
Refunds and your final bill
- You're responsible for any pending or outstanding balance; pay at Spectrum.net, in the My Spectrum App, or at a Spectrum Store.
- If leased equipment isn't returned, an unreturned equipment fee may be added to your account balance.
Make sure it worked
- You can still sign in at Spectrum.net or in the My Spectrum App for 60 days after your disconnection date.
- Keep your equipment return receipt.
- Keep the confirmation email, a screenshot of the confirmation screen, or any reference number.
- Check your next card or bank statement to confirm the charge has stopped.
